Problems We Can Help With
Boise sewer-line work and permits
Boise City’s Sewer Extension Policy says that, for City-sponsored sewer-extension projects, the property owner is responsible for the service line from the public right-of-way to the structure. It also says permits must be secured before private-property service-line construction. Confirm the rules for your address and project with the City before scheduling excavation.
If your project involves a new connection or a full service-line replacement, confirm the permit requirements for your address with the Boise Building Department at (208) 608-7150. Read the City’s Sewer Extension Policy, revised February 3, 2026 before work is scheduled.
Our Boise sewer repair and replacement cost guide explains what can affect an estimate and what to ask before approving the work.
